So if you're visiting friends and family over the holidays, don't wait. Purchase your Personal Miles today to fly off and reconnect with the people who mean the most to you.
You can purchase up to 25,000 miles in 1,000-mile increments.

Transfer Miles—Now you can help friends and family visit you for the holidays by sharing your miles. Give up to 60,000 miles, up to 15,000 miles per recipient, through December 31, 2005.

Give Miles—Give the gift of travel with Give Miles®! You can purchase miles online for your friends and family even if you don't know their Mileage Plus account numbers. To make your gift-giving easier, you can even send an electronic gift card or print out a gift certificate. Your recipient can apply these miles toward award travel on United or any Mileage Plus airline partner, or toward upgrades on United.

Charity Miles—Make a difference in the lives of those in need by donating your miles to charitable causes.
These miles allow aid workers to travel in to devastated areas-like regions affected by the tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita-and survivors to travel out for medical treatment.
