"Vacation Spotlight" VIVA LOS CABOS BY, MARK AUSTIN

I had in my foggy head the perfect pilot for any of the growing number of Spanish-speaking stations. Because if it wouldn’t fly for HBO’s late-night schedule, HBO Latino would be all over it.

Maybe it was the part about kicking off the night in town with a shot or two at Nowhere Bar, right on the marina in Cabo, where the locals and turistas alike congregate to get their game face on for the rest of the evening.

Maybe it was the spin through El Squid Roe, the famous joint (see any one of a dozen Wild On E! shows for confirmation) that transforms from a friendly family restaurant in the early evening into a two-story, tequila-and-music fest that only picks up momentum in the wee hours of the morning. If it is possible to grow weary of the action on the dance floor, the wallflowers can get a laugh from the creative signage adorning the walls.." [Via playermagazine.us]
