You can take miles directly from your SkyMiles account and transfer them online into the account of another SkyMiles member.

For a limited time, between March 15 and June 30, 2005, you can transfer:

* 1,000 to 30,000 miles in increments of 1,000 miles at a cost of $0.01 per mile, plus a $25 processing fee.
* A maximum of 150,000 miles into any individual SkyMiles account per calendar year.

To transfer miles you will need the SkyMiles account number and name of the recipient as it appears on their SkyMiles account. You must have a valid major credit card with a billing address in the 50 United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands.
